I, Beth Anne Campbell, am a former corporate queen (some might say prisoner) who traded in her tiara for a pen and a microphone. Or more accurately, the tiara was ripped away when I was made redundant (as if!) in 2023 after more than two decades as a successful professional in corporate tech.

I eventually realized that the stress of working in unfulfilling roles with horrible leaders and zero creativity was taking its toll on my body and soul. So I made the decision to pursue happiness over a big paycheck.

I never looked back. I am now living my dream life of writing, podcasting, and speaking out.

I host two podcasts that might seem like they are on opposite sides of the universe. The Thirsty Professional is a live show where my guests and I grab a bevvy, ditch the BS, and get real about careers, purpose, and passion. Something Weird Happened Here is a paranormal podcast for people who love a twisted tale, but aren’t afraid to poke at it a bit.

Born and raised in the great state of Michigan, I currently live in Virginia with my awesome husband, Sean, and our silver Labrador retriever Moxie. While I will always be a mitten girl at heart, I love living in Virginia.

I am slightly rebellious, harmlessly (for the most part) sarcastic, and hats are my thing. And I have been known to drop an f-bomb or two (or thirty). Jigsaw puzzles, bacon, jazz hands, and baby animals… these are a few of my favorite things.

Finally, I am an inclusive, pro-DEI, LGBTQ+ ally and supporter, proud feminist, science lover, and progressive thinker.

In my spare time, I can usually be found working on my next book or using my voice to make the world a better place.
