Who is The Thirsty Professional for?
Entrepreneurs, business owners, solopreneurs, corporate professionals, consultants, authors, speakers, or any person who wants to give and receive insight about their career, purpose, and/or passion.
Anyone who has ever thought, “This needs to be better” and who works to make that happen.
Anyone who has found their purpose, who is seeking purpose, and/or who understands the power of having a deep purpose on this planet.
People who are working on their mindset – changing from within to change the energy they put out into the world and better navigate the chaos.
Anyone who loves candid, transparent, ridiculously blunt discussions about careers, purpose, fulfillment, and/or mindset.
Those who are tired of the dry, pitchy, used-car sales-y, same-old-same old.
What kind of guests am I looking for?
People willing to be transparent, candid, and authentic about their journey. This is the only hard and fast requirement in this list. 👊
People with energy and passion about what they do. Whether you have pursued your career or purpose for twenty years or twenty days…the fact that you have passion is all that matters.
People who have been working on their mindset and/or manifestation.
Anyone who has good stories about the journey that brought them to here…whatever “here” is.
People who are a little edgy; people who love to laugh; people who don’t mind the occasional f-bomb. 😬
People who have a unique career, passion, or position.
PS: You don’t have to check all the boxes!
What do I need to know if I am a guest?
It’s easy breezy lemon squeezy! I don’t bite (usually).
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make sure you have adequate internet bandwidth for streaming. If you have experienced streaming issues in the past on your end, please find an alternate location. Successful LIVE streaming depends on a good internet connection.
I highly recommend that you NOT use your built-in laptop microphone. Your mic does not have to be professional grade…plug-in microphones and well-charged Bluetooth pods are fine, make sure they are fully charged.
I highly recommend you use headphones to listen (instead of your laptop speakers or an external speaker) if you do not have a good noise-canceling or professional/podcasting microphone. Otherwise, your mic will pick up my voice when I talk through the open speaker and echo back into the podcast audio. Please have a set of headphones at the ready just in case,

This is a two-way conversation, so please let me get a word in now and then (and feel free to interject if I start rambling!).
Wear whatever you want. Pajamas are fine, hats are always welcome, and tiaras make me squeal with delight.
Swearing is optional but encouraged (I may drop a few F-bombs during the LIVE, fair warning).
My target duration is 30-40 minutes, but you never know. Plan on an hour.
I will send you a link to the LIVE event a few days ahead of schedule. Please enter the event five minutes before the scheduled LIVE time so we can make sure everything is set.
I will leave time at the end for you to give out your contact information and announce any promotions, upcoming events, lead magnets, offers, etc.
You are encouraged to invite people to the LIVE event, promote, talk about it, shout it from the mountaintops, etc.
The show will stream LIVE on LinkedIn and YouTube, so feel free to promote in either or both places.

By appearing on The Thirsty Professional (hosted and produced by Beth Anne Campbell), you (the guest) understand and accept the following:
Your voice and performance will be recorded and published as part of The Thirsty Professional LIVE series.
Your name, likeness, image (as provided by you), bio (as provided by you), voice, appearance, performance, video recording (including clips), and/or audio recording (including clips) will be used for promoting The Thirsty Professional via online platforms including but not limited to bethannecampbell.com, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram.
Beth Anne Campbell may edit and/or transcribe the recording of your appearance on The Thirsty Professional LIVE session for clarity or time. Beth Anne Campbell will not alter the recorded material in such a way that alters the intent or integrity of the session.
Beth Anne Campbell may pull your episode of The Thirsty Professional from publication at any time after it is published.
You will receive no monetary or other compensation in exchange for their appearance on The Thirsty Professional and there is no expectation of any future compensation or royalties.
The material you present in The Thirsty Professional LIVE is your own and/or not subject to copyright, trademark, or other violations for said material.
You are licensed to freely promote The Thirsty Professional and your appearance on The Thirsty Professional using the unaltered The Thirsty Professional logo and graphics, using The Thirsty Professional hyperlink https://www.bethannecampbell.com/the-thirsty-professional (or other URL/hyperlink as provided by Beth Anne Campbell), and/or other publicly available content related to the series on social media including without limitation Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram.
If requested, Beth Anne Campbell will provide a full download of The Thirsty Professional episode in which you appear. You are free to use the video to promote yourself and/or the show (including creating clips, mash-ups, shorts, etc.) as long as you do not alter the integrity of the overall content of the episode, and as long as you do not portray Beth Anne Campbell or The Thirsty Professional podcast in a way that is not accurate or truthful in the context of the original downloaded material. In other words, you can use the video to create clips, promote yourself, etc, but you cannot alter the content in a manner that falsely represents the material, tone, and intent of the original episode.
Beth Anne Campbell will remove your guest appearance episode of The Thirsty Professional from LinkedIn and YouTube if notified by you via email within three (3) business days after the LIVE event air date. Notifications should be sent to thebeann@gmail.com.
Any request to remove material related to your appearance on The Thirsty Professional (including but not limited to the full episode or any related promotional and/or marketing material) will be granted to the extent reasonably possible. After The Thirsty Professional material is published on the internet (social media platforms, podcast RSS feeds, and/or other venues), it may be impossible to remove every single reference or copy in existence.

Generally, I go with the flow and let the conversation happen organically. However, here are some typical questions I may ask if the conversation allows.
Why is your career choice your passion? Why is it important for you?
What do you wish you had known when you started your current career path?
What is the craziest story around your current or recent career path? Funny, weird, unbelievable, shocking, etc. It doesn’t have to be something you were directly involved in…but maybe observed, witnessed, etc.
If you could snap your fingers and make one change around your career right now, what would it be?
Tell me about the biggest asshole you have encountered in your career.
Tell me about someone who was your angel, who helped you greatly to get where you are.
What is your biggest failure in your career thus far and what did you learn from it?
